Every tourist knows that visiting Sharm and not visiting the Old Market is unacceptable. The place has all the colors of Sinai: be it honking vehicles, male sales people who compliment you on your every move, the scent of spices all over the place, fabulous fish restaurants and much more. It is difficult to describe the Old Market in words; you have to see it with your own eyes. Apart from giving you the opportunity to see the real life of Sharm, the place gives you an amazing shopping as well. You can get nice discounts for almost half the price if you know how to smile and know the basics of math. The sellers are usually very warm and make deals quite easily. The only disadvantage of the place is that most of the shops do not receive credit cards. But this matter can be easily solved by visiting a near by bank. One is located just at the entrance of the market (this is also the place where you can get some money exchange) and the other opposite the market in Tiran Centre.
